View an additional document

Learn how to view the current version of an additional document in the manager portal.

Additional documents, such as forms or reference materials, are.pdf files attached to one or more of your organisation's policies. An additional document can be viewed in the manager portal for Ausmed's Policy Management System, along with all information about the document, on the document item details page.

Steps

  1. From the top navigation bar in the manager portal, go to Policies. 
  2. From the left-hand-side menu bar, go to Your Additional Documents. 
  3. Choose one of the following options:
    1. Hover over the row of the document you would like to view, then click View. 
    2. Click on the title of the document you would like to view.
  4. View the document information, including: 
    1. Item ID - a set of letters and/or numbers to uniquely identify the document.
    2. Date Updated - the date the document was last updated. 
    3. First Created - the date the policy was first added to Ausmed. 
    1. Review Due By - the date by which the policy needs to be reviewed for currency. 
    2. Publisher - the user that last updated the document in Ausmed. 
    3. Description - a few sentences to describe the document to other users in the manager portal.
    4. File - the contents of the document. 

      Tip: Click on the file name to download it to your computer. 

    5. Related Policies - the policies the document is currently attached to in Ausmed.
