Understand Training Customisation

Training Customisation lets Library (SCORM) customers add their own policies, messages, procedures and quiz questions before and after any Ausmed module — here's what it does, what staff see, and its limits.

Who does this article apply to? Organisation Managers of Ausmed Library™ (SCORM) customers.

Training Customisation lets you add your own content before and after any Ausmed module inside the SCORM package — your policies, welcome messages, procedures and quiz questions. Staff see your content and the Ausmed module as one seamless course.

You do not need the Ausmed Policies product to use this. You link to your policies wherever they already live — for example, SharePoint.

What you can do
  • Add your content before and after a module. Open with a welcome message and your policy, then close with a completion message or a quiz.
  • Build reusable blocks. A block is a single piece of your content — a policy link, a message, a procedure or a set of quiz questions. Build it once and add it to as many modules as you like.
  • Update once, everywhere. Edit a block and the change applies to every module it's used in. No re-downloading or re-uploading your SCORM file (after the first time).
  • Make it read as yours. Your content is visually separated from the Ausmed module so staff can see what's from your organisation.
What staff see

Staff move through the course in this order:

  1. Course intro
  2. Your content (welcome, policy, procedure, quiz — whatever you've added before the module)
  3. The Ausmed module
  4. Your closing content (completion message, quiz — whatever you've added after the module)

Progress shows in the side menu, with your content clearly separated from the Ausmed content.

Good to know
  • Your content goes before and after the module, not inside it. There's no way to insert content into the middle of an Ausmed module.
  • Policies are linked, not embedded. Ausmed links out to your policy wherever it lives. We don't host or display the PDF inside the module.
  • This doesn't record policy acknowledgement. You can show a policy and quiz staff on it, but there's no record of who read or accepted it. If you need acknowledgement records, that's part of the Ausmed Policies product.
  • Quiz questions check understanding only. They aren't scored or recorded in this release.
