New Updates to Ausmed Policies

We've added some key new features to the Policies product in the Ausmed LMS


Who does this article apply to?


We’re excited to announce a powerful update to our Policy system!


Previously, you could only assign policies to specific job roles — but not anymore.

What’s New:
Assign Policies to More Groups: You can now assign policies to:

  • Any job role
  • Specific teams
  • Locations
  • Individual users

Why It Matters:
👉 More Flexibility: Ensure the right people see the right policies, no matter how your organisation is structured.
👉 Targeted Compliance: Easily assign policies to specific teams or locations to meet compliance requirements.
👉 Improved Control: Directly assign policies to individuals when you need to ensure compliance at the user level.

This update makes managing policies more intuitive and helps you keep your team aligned and compliant with ease.


Choose view settings for Policies: You can choose who can see Policies in their Policy Library:

There are 2 options:
  1. Everyone in 'Organisation' can view - this means the Policy will be added to all staff Policy Libraries and viewable
  2. Only those that are required to acknowledge can view - this means the Policy will only appear in the Policy Libraries of staff members who have been asked to acknowledge this Policy
    1.  You can add in additional job roles for viewing purposes if required

👉 Content Relevance: Ensure the right people in your Organisation see the most relevant resources relating to their role or work
