❓What is the ALIS (ACQSC) Library?
The ALIS Library in Ausmed Learn™ is a collection of training modules developed by the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission (ACQSC).
These modules are made available to eligible aged care providers through a formal approval process and are designed to support regulatory understanding and best-practice care.
Ausmed has received permission from the Commission to make these modules available directly through Ausmed Learn™, removing the need for staff to log into the ALIS website. This enables a seamless learning experience for your organisation.👥 Who can access the ALIS Library through Ausmed?
The ALIS Library in Ausmed Learn™ is made available to aged care providers regulated by the ACQSC, provided they have completed the required approval process, in accordance with ACQSC requirements.
🔐 How to request access to the ALIS Library for your organisation
⚠️ Important: Only request access to the ALIS Library if you have delegated authority within your organisation. Requests without proper authorisation may delay approval.
Access to the ALIS Library through Ausmed Learn™ requires approval from the Commission. To request access, follow these steps:
-
Navigate to Learn in the top menu bar, then click Libraries > ALIS (ACQSC)
-
Complete and sign the PandaDoc request form on behalf of your organisation
-
Ausmed will send your request to the ACQSC, who will review and approve access.
-
Once approved, Ausmed will enable the ALIS Library for your organisation in Ausmed Learn™. The person who submitted the request will be notified when this happens.
🚫 What should I do if the Commission denies my organisation's request?
If your organisation’s request to access the ALIS Library is denied by the ACQSC, it typically means your organisation does not meet the eligibility criteria set by the Commission (e.g. not a regulated aged care provider).
Here’s what you can do:
-
Review the Commission’s eligibility criteria on their website.
-
Contact your Ausmed Customer Success Manager: They can clarify the reason for denial (if provided) and help you understand your options.
ℹ️ Note: Ausmed is required to follow the Commission’s approval process and cannot override their decision.
🔎 How do I know if my organisation has access to the ALIS Library?
