Overview

Each time an Assessor assesses a Candidate's competence through Ausmed Assess — see How to assess a competency using Ausmed Assess — a series of events are triggered automatically depending on whether the outcome is Competent or Not Yet Competent:

Event Competent Not Yet Competent
A competency outcome record is created in Ausmed Competency™ evidencing that the assessment took place
A learning record is created in Ausmed Learn™ — this is what allows the system to automatically mark learning requirements as complete ❌ 
Learning requirements are automatically marked as complete in Ausmed Learn™ — provided the completion date of the learning record falls within the requirement timeline ✅  ❌ 
The outcome is flagged on the competency dashboard in Ausmed Competency™ so managers can follow up
