How to view competency assessment information
Steps
- Locate the assessment
- Click Competency in the top navigation bar of the manager portal. This will open the Assessment Templates page.
- Locate the assessment you want to view.

- Open the assessment details page
- Click on the name of a competency assessment template to view its full details.
- The details page displays key information to help determine if it aligns with your needs.
- View the assessment information:
- Description – An overview of the competency, outlining its purpose and how it applies in a professional setting.
- Related Standards – The specific Aged Care Standards this competency assessment aligns with.
- Applicable Professions – The specific roles or job titles that this assessment is designed for, ensuring relevance to the workforce.
- Related Settings – The workplace environments where the assessment is applicable, such as aged care, or home care.
- Relevant Learning – The Ausmed learning resources that support the knowledge, skills and behaviours assessed.
- Version – The version number of the assessment, indicating updates or revisions to its content.
- Last Updated – The date when the assessment was last reviewed or modified, ensuring you are using the most recent version.
- Recommended Assessment Cycle – The suggested frequency for completing the assessment (e.g., annually) to maintain competency.
- Download the assessment template:
- If the competency assessment meets your needs, download it for use.
- If it’s not the right fit, return to the Assessment Templates page and refine your search using filters.
