Understanding your Training Schedule and Labels

Everything you need to know about your Training Schedule and Labels

When downloading SCORM files from Ausmed Library™ two important features help structure and streamline your workflow: the Training Schedule and Labels.

This article explains what these features are, how they relate to each other, and why they’re essential for organising and exporting your learning content.

📋 What is your Training Schedule?

The Training Schedule is a dedicated space where you manage the learning resources your organisation is using or plans to use from the Ausmed Library™. Think of it as your organisation’s personalised playlist—a shortlist of content curated from the broader library.

From your Training Schedule you can:

  • View resource information
  • Download resources as SCORM files for use in your own LMS
  • Manage Labels
  • Remove resources you're no longer using.

🏷️ What are Labels?

Labels are custom categories you tag to resources when adding them to your Training Schedule. They help you group and organise your learning content in ways that make sense to your organisation.

Examples of how Labels can be used:

  • By department: e.g. “Care Workers,” “Leadership,” “Allied Health”
  • By topic: e.g. “Infection Control,” “Medication Safety”
  • By purpose or timeframe: e.g. “Onboarding 2025,” “Q3 Compliance”

You can create and reuse labels as needed, making it easy to maintain structure and clarity across your Training Schedule.

🔁 How do the Training Schedule and Labels work together?

When you add a resource to your Training Schedule, you must assign it a label. This ensures the content is properly grouped, making it easier to manage, track, and export.

Once a resource is added to a label in your Training Schedule, you’ll be able to download it as a SCORM file.

In simple terms:
  • Ausmed Library™ = everything available to your organisation
  • Training Schedule = the content you’ve selected to use
  • Labels = how you organise that content into categories

This structure gives you full flexibility to organise your learning content your way—while ensuring it's export-ready for your LMS.
