The following email notifications are sent to staff and managers using Ausmed Perform™:

Automated task reminders
Staff and Direct Managers are automatically sent email reminders for incomplete tasks.
Reminders are directed to whoever currently has action on the task (e.g. if a self-assessment is awaiting manager review, the reminder goes to the manager).

Task opened: Sent the day after a task opens for completion

Task due in 7 days: Sent 7 days before a task is due for completion

Task due tomorrow: Final reminder sent the day before the due date

Task overdue: Sent the day after the due date
Manual reminders
Users with permission to view a staff member’s tasks can send email reminders for specific performance tasks via the manager portal.

The reminder includes the task name and due date

This is useful when following up outside the standard reminder schedule.
Comments and feedback notifications
Staff receive an email notification when comments or feedback are added to their user profile. This includes:

Logging performance feedback

Adding notes to a 1:1 meeting when marking it as complete

Reviewing a self-assessment and including comments
✉️ Notifications are not sent if no notes or comments are included.
Self-assessment ready for review
When a staff member submits a self-assessment for review, their Direct Manager is notified by email:

The email includes the task title and the staff member’s name

Managers can click directly into the system to complete their review.
