Understand policy notifications

Everything you need to know about notifications for Ausmed's Policy Management System.

Email notifications are sent to users when they're assigned a policy to acknowledge. They’re also sent when you remind users to acknowledge their policies, when you choose to notify users that a policy has been updated, and after a user has acknowledged a policy in My Organisation.

Types of email notifications

There are 6 types of policy notifications. Each type is described below, along with an example of each email.

  1. New policy for acknowledgement
    1. This notification is sent to users the first time they need to acknowledge a policy in My Organisation:
  2. Policy has been updated
    1. This notification is sent to users when you decide to notify users with required job roles that a policy has been updated:
  3. Policy requires re-acknowledgement
    1. This notification is sent to users when you update a policy and require re-acknowledgement, meaning users who have already acknowledged the policy before now need to acknowledge the latest version:

  4. Reminder to acknowledge all assigned policies
    1. This notification is sent when you decide to remind some or all non-compliant users to acknowledge their policies. It lists all the policies the user still needs to acknowledge:
  5. Reminder to acknowledge a particular policy 
    1. This notification is sent to users when you send reminders about a particular policy or to a particular user:
  6. Acknowledgement confirmation
    1. This notification is sent to users after they acknowledge a policy in My Organisation:
