It is created each time an Assessor submits an assessment result through Ausmed Assess — see [*How to assess a competency using Ausmed Assess*](https://knowledge.organisations.ausmed.com.au/en/knowledge/performing-an-assessment?hsLang=en). Records cannot be edited after submission and contain: - The competency assessment title and version number - The assessment outcome — Competent or Not Yet Competent - Assessor comments - The candidate's name and details - The assessor's name - The date of assessment - The outcome of each criterion:  - **Satisfactory** — the candidate demonstrated this criterion - **Not Yet Satisfactory** — the candidate has not yet demonstrated this criterion - **Not Applicable** — this criterion isn't relevant to the candidate's role or context - **Not Assessed** — this criterion wasn't covered in this assessment session. A record is created regardless of outcome. However only a Competent outcome generates a learning record and marks compliance requirements as complete.  --- #### **Where can records be accessed?** Competency Outcome Records can be accessed in several places across the manager and staff portals: **Manager portal** - **Dashboard** — Not Yet Competent outcomes surface here for follow-up - **Outcomes Report** — view and filter all records across your organisation - **Candidate profile** — see all records for an individual staff member - **Learning records** — records are attached to the associated learning record in the evidence tab **Staff portal** - **Staff portal** — staff can view their Competency Outcome Record when viewing their results, including their overall outcome, how they performed against each criterion, and any feedback their assessor provided. --- #### **Downloading a record** **![](https://knowledge.organisations.ausmed.com.au/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-May-18-2026-04-56-53-6123-AM.png?width=375&height=116&name=image-png-May-18-2026-04-56-53-6123-AM.png)**Competency Outcome Records can be downloaded for audit or reporting purposes by selecting **Export CSV** from the top right of the record.
