Adding items to your Training Plan

We've made some improvements to adding and editing training plan items to reduce confusion and streamline the experience.


What’s changed?

Next time you add or edit a training plan item, we'll ask you a series of questions to help determine the settings or rules for who needs to complete the item, when and how often.

These changes will make it easier to understand how these settings control what compliance requirements are created for your training plan items.

We've also changed the way compliance requirements are created when adding new items to pre-existing (active) training plans:

  • In the past, when you added a new item to an existing plan, compliance requirements were backdated to a user's enrolment date in the plan. Now they won't be, as requirements will be generated based on the date you add the item to the plan.

  • If you add an item to be due once only in an induction training plan, we’ll ask you to set an enrolment start date, so that only users enrolled in the plan after that date will be assigned the item. This will prevent users who have already finished the induction plan from being required to complete the item.
