Surveys updated to support Anonymous responses
We've updated the Surveys feature to now support the ability for managers to collect anonymous responses
Who does this article apply to?
- Users with access to Ausmed's Learning Management System
We’re excited to announce a powerful enhancement to our Surveys feature – the ability to collect anonymous responses.
✨ What’s New
You can now create surveys that allow participants to respond anonymously, helping you gather more honest, candid, and actionable feedback – especially when addressing sensitive topics like workplace culture, job satisfaction, or team dynamics.
🔐 How It Works
-
When setting up a new survey, you’ll now see an option to Collect Responses Anonymously toggle
-
When enabled:
-
Identifying information (e.g. names, emails, user IDs) is not stored or accessible with the response.
-
Responses are still time-stamped and aggregated in analytics, but are not linked to specific individuals.
-
Participation is optional, as with all surveys – anonymous or not.
-
🎯 Why This Matters
This feature helps:
-
Foster trust and transparency across your teams.
-
Support compliance and psychological safety frameworks.
-
Increase response rates and improve feedback quality.
🛠️ Getting Started
To enable anonymous surveys:
-
Go to Surveys in your dashboard.
-
Click Create Survey or edit an existing one.
-
Toggle "Collect Responses Anonymously toggle" in the Survey creation modal.
🔎 Note
Once anonymous mode is turned on for a survey, it cannot be reversed after responses are collected – to maintain integrity and participant confidence.
