🔔 How to send reminders for mandatory requirements
Sending a manual nudge helps your team stay on top of their mandatory requirements, in addition to the automated reminders the system sends. For more information on automated reminders, see Notifications about mandatory training.
Steps
1. Find “Open” or “Overdue” requirements
-
Start by locating the in-progress requirements that need a follow-up.
- Requirements can be accessed in various places throughout the LMS, including the User Profile page, User Compliance, Workroom, Calendar, Item Management views.
-
For a quick individual nudge: Just hover over the row for a specific requirement to find the Send Reminder button.
-
To save time with a group: Use the checkboxes in the table to select all the requirements you want to target, then click Send Reminders to handle them all at once.
3. Add a personal message
-
You’ll have the chance to include a short message with the reminder. This is a great moment to explain why this specific training matters or what the user should focus on. We’ve found that a quick personal note really helps catch people's eye and boosts completion rates.
Keep in mind: If you’re sending reminders to a group, the same message will go to everyone you’ve selected.
4. Review and Send
-
Take a final look to make sure you’re reaching out to the right people, then click Send Reminders one last time to confirm.
-
Your team will see those emails in their inbox within a few minutes, clearly showing what the task is, who sent the nudge, and your personal message.
