Learn how to mark optional requirements as skipped.
Skipping a requirement is a permanent action and can't be reversed. Make sure you understand why you're marking a requirement as skipped, and the consequences of this before you go ahead.
Why mark an optional requirement as skipped?
Consider marking an optional requirement as skipped if the user it's assigned to no longer needs to complete it. For example, because the training it relates to is no longer relevant to the user, or because the user has taken a leave of absence.
What happens once the requirement is skipped?
- Marking an optional requirement as skipped updates the status of the requirement record to "skipped" in the LMS, indicating the requirement no longer needs to be met.
- The requirement is removed from the user's assigned learning list in My Organisation, so they won't be prompted to complete it.
