Why mark a compliance requirement as skipped?
Compliance requirements, also known as compliance records, represent requests to users to complete mandatory training. They contain information on who is required to complete the training, what they need to complete, and the timeline for this.
Consider marking a compliance requirement as skipped if the user it’s assigned to no longer needs to complete it - for example, because they’ve taken a leave of absence or the requirement was mistakenly assigned.
What happens after a requirement is skipped?
- The status of the requirement is updated to "skipped" in the LMS, indicating the requirement no longer needs to be met.
- The requirement is removed from the user's assigned learning list in My Organisation, so they are no longer prompted to complete it.
Only requirements with a scheduled, open, overdue or missed status can be skipped. Click here to learn more about a requirement's status - see section titled "What is a requirement's status and compliance timeline?"
