Introduction to Structures

In this article we'll introduce you to the new Structure feature and how you can use it in your Organisation.

Introducing Structures

The new Structure feature is a powerful new way for Organisations to be able to create an accurate representation of their Organisational Structure in the LMS.

You will now be able to break up your Organisation into:

Group: generally useful for franchises that need to segment their Organisation into clearly separate bodies under one Organisation

Region: generally used to segment at a state level

Sub-Region:
generally used to segment at a city level

Facility: individual facilities within a sub region or region

Most Organisations will only use the Region, Sub Region, Facility set up and we've made it so that you can completely customise the structure to how you see fit.

We've used 'states' and 'cities' as an example but you are not locked into that - however your Organisation is structured, you'll be able to reflect in the Ausmed LMS as so.

You'll be able to assign staff to individual facilities and in turn they will belong to each parent location above.

Managers can be assigned on a level by level basis.

We've also added the new Structure feature as filters to all existing reporting so you'll now be able to report on a Group, Region, Sub Region or Facility level - allowing you to slice your data even further to get to the very granular details of your Organisational Learning.

If you are looking to take the next step however, and are wanting to experience this new powerful feature in the Ausmed LMS - simply login, click on Organisation on the top menu and then Manage Structures on the left hand menu to get started.
