Introducing Perform Content Templates + Updated Navigation in Perform | 30th September 2025

We’re excited to announce the first release of Perform content templates in the Ausmed LMS. This update introduces managed content that organisations can use straight away to streamline their performance review processes.

Question Bank

  • Ausmed-managed questions are now available in the Question Bank, identifiable by the Ausmed icon.

    • These questions cannot be deleted or modified but can be copied for reuse.

  • Organisations can continue to add, edit, copy, and delete their own questions.

  • Filters now allow users to view questions by:

    • Source (Ausmed vs Organisation-created)

    • Category

    • Question type (e.g., multiple choice)

Activity Templates

  • A new “Use Template” option allows organisations to quickly create activities without starting from scratch.

  • Initial templates include:

    • Probation Review

    • Annual Review

  • Each activity template includes a structured guide and pre-loaded questions to support effective manager–employee reviews.

Program Templates (formerly Cycles)

  • The Cycles feature has been renamed to Programs to reflect broader use cases.

  • Program templates are now available via the “Use Template” option.

  • Current templates include:

    • Annual Review Program

    • Probation Review Program

  • Templates automatically include related activities (e.g., the Annual Review Program includes the Annual Review Activity).

  • Organisations can:

    • Create draft programs from templates

    • Adjust schedules (e.g., extend review timelines)

    • Publish and enrol users immediately

Perform Nav Updates

We’ve made navigation changes in Perform to make it more consistent with Learn and Policies.

What’s changed

  • Library

    • Now includes a new Question Bank section.

    • Organisations can load in commonly used questions or access Ausmed-managed questions for activities and programs.

  • Plan

    • Cycles are now called Programs (name change only).

    • Program templates are now available here for easier setup.

  • Manage

    • Tasks, Goals, Feedback, and Perform Notes are now grouped under Manage for consistency across Ausmed’s products.

 

📈 What’s Next

  • Currently, two program templates and two activity templates are available, alongside a wide range of Ausmed-managed questions.

  • Over time, we’ll expand the template library with more programs, activities, and question types to support diverse organisational needs.
