How to view and manage Tasks

Stay on top of staff reviews, feedback, and compliance with streamlined task management

This article explains how to use the Manage Tasks section in Ausmed Perform. You’ll learn how to navigate different task views, send reminders, track progress, and manage overdue or skipped items across staff, managers, and review cycles.


Who it applies to:

  • Users with Organisation Manager or Team Manager permissions in Ausmed Perform.

  • Anyone reviewing staff participation or engagement in performance activities.

What is the Manage Tasks section?

The Manage Tasks feature helps you oversee all tasks related to performance reviews. From here, you can see which tasks are overdue, open, scheduled, completed, or skipped.

Access it via:
Ausmed Perform > Reviews > Manage Tasks


Understanding the Workroom

The Workroom provides a status-based view of tasks:

  • Overdue: Tasks past their due date

  • Open: Tasks not yet started

  • Scheduled: Tasks due in the future

  • Completed/Skipped: Finalised tasks

From here, you can:

  • Select tasks and click Send Reminders

  • Or click Mark as Skipped for non-required items


Using Calendar View

This shows tasks visually across a timeline.

Views available:

  • Daily, Monthly, Yearly

Click a date to view all tasks due that day. From the table, you can send reminders, skip tasks, or filter based on status.


Tracking by Manager

This view groups tasks by reporting manager.

You’ll see:

  • How many reports they oversee

  • Their outstanding, scheduled, or completed tasks

  • The overall progress in their reporting line

You can click on any number to explore the details of assigned tasks per manager.


Tracking by User

Similar to the Manager view, this displays each user’s tasks.

You’ll see:

  • Status columns for each review or feedback task
  • A detailed view by clicking into each task record

You can click on any number to explore the details of assigned tasks per user.


Tracking by Review Cycle

This view groups tasks based on review cycles.

You’ll see:

  • Overall progress per cycle

  • Summary of activities assigned

You can click on any number to explore the details of assigned tasks per cycle.


Tips:

  • Use filters to find specific items quickly.

  • Click any status number to view associated tasks.

  • Mark skipped items only when they’re no longer needed—this keeps records clear.
