How to use Perform Content Templates
This article explains how to access and use the pre-built templates in Ausmed Perform. These templates include review questions, structured activities (like annual and probation reviews), and full program templates, helping teams streamline their performance management workflows and ensure consistency across the board.
Who does this article apply to?
- Users with access to Ausmed's Learning Management System
- Users with organisation or team manager permissions.
What content templates are available?
Ausmed Perform now includes managed content for:

Question Bank – pre-written performance questions

Activity Templates – structured meeting templates (e.g., probation or annual review)

Program Templates – full performance cycles (now called "Programs")
This library will expand over time based on feedback.
How to use the Question Bank

Go to Perform > Library > Question Bank.

Use filters on the left to refine by:

Creator (e.g., Ausmed vs organisation-created)

Category
-
Question type (e.g., multiple choice)

Look for the Ausmed icon to identify managed questions.

Ausmed questions cannot be edited or deleted but can be copied.

Your organisation’s questions can be edited or deleted as needed.

Click + Add Question to create your own.
How to use Activity Templates

Navigate to Perform > Activities.

Click Use Template at the top-right.

Select a template:

The selected activity includes a structured meeting guide and pre-loaded questions.

You can edit the activity content or use it as-is.
How to use Program Templates
Note: "Programs" have replaced "Cycles".

Go to Perform > Programs.

Click Use Template.
-
Click Use Template to add it as a draft.

You can:

Adjust the schedule (e.g., change the review period)

Edit the content as needed

Once ready, click Publish.

Enrol users to begin using the program.
Tips and feedback

Templates help ensure consistency in how reviews are conducted.

Managers can edit and customise templates to suit their team’s needs.
