How to Run a Perform Log Report

Understand how to use the Perform Log Report to view all performance notes across your organisation.

The Perform Log Report helps you monitor and extract detailed performance notes recorded during review cycles. These logs can include reflective practice notes, informal coaching entries, or sentiment-based records, and are especially useful for audit preparation, compliance tracking, or supporting performance discussions.

  • Organisation and Team Managers using Ausmed Perform

  • Admins responsible for performance tracking, reporting or audits

Accessing the Perform Log Report

  1. In the top navigation bar, go to Perform.

  2. Select Reports.

  3. Choose Perform Log from the available report types.


Filter Options

To customise the report to your needs, apply any combination of the following filters:

  • User, Team, Job Role, Location, Manager:
    Focus on individual records or aggregate by team/location.

  • Standards or Frameworks:
    Filter notes linked to regulatory or capability frameworks.

  • Date Range:
    View notes created within specific timeframes—like “Last 30 Days,” “This Financial Year,” or any custom period.


Understanding the Results

Once your filters are applied, click Run Report. The results will show detailed performance notes with the following information:

Grouping options include:

  • By User

  • By Team, Job Role, Location, or Manager

  • By Sentiment (positive, neutral, constructive)

  • By Type (type of note)

This allows you to answer questions such as:

  • “Which staff have received mostly constructive notes?”

  • “What performance coaching has occurred in Team A over the past quarter?”

  • “Which job roles are receiving reflective feedback most often?”




Tips

  • Sentiment Filtering: Use this to gauge the overall tone of feedback trends across teams or managers.

  • Link to Frameworks / Standards: If you tag notes to standards or frameworks, this report is powerful for aligning performance conversations with regulatory expectations.

  • Export Capability: Use the grouped view to present performance logs by theme, role or sentiment for your next internal review or board report.
