How to download competency assessment templates for use within your organisation.

In this article: 

Ausmed's competency assessment templates are available as editable PDF files, allowing for easy modifications. There are two types of competency assessment templates:

  • Assessor Copy – Designed for assessors to evaluate a candidate’s competency.
  • Candidate Copy – Provided to the candidate to guide them in preparing for their assessment.

Any user with access to Ausmed Competency™ Beta can download and edit these templates or add specific details before printing or distributing them. However, any modifications should remain aligned with relevant standards and regulatory requirements.

How to download a competency assessment template

  1. Click Competency in the top navigation bar of the manager portal. This will open the Assessment Templates page. 
  2. Locate the assessment template you would like to download:
    1. If you already know the assessment you need, proceed to the next step
    2. If you haven’t found the right competency assessment yet, refer to Find competency assessment templates for guidance on searching and filtering. 

  3. Once you've found the template, there are two ways to download it:

Option 1: From the Assessment Templates page

    • Find the assessment in the list of available templates on the Assessment Templates page.

    • In the Actions column, click the three dots next to the template and select Select Download Assessor Copy or Download Candidate Copy depending on your needs.

    • The file will open in a new browser tab, where you can download and save it to your computer.

Option 2: From the assessment details page

Steps

  1. Find the assessment in the list of available templates on the Assessment Templates page.
  2. Click on the name of the assessment you would like to download to open the assessment details page. 
  3. Review the assessment information, then scroll to the Download section. 
  4. Click to download Assessor Copy or Candidate Copy depending on your needs.
  5. The file will open in a new browser tab, where you can download and save it to your computer.

📌 Tip: Having trouble downloading? 

  • Check for pop-up blockers – Your browser may be blocking the new tab. Allow pop-ups for this site in your browser settings.
  • Try a different browser – Some browsers may handle file previews differently.
  • Refresh the page and try again.
