Ausmed Assess is where Assessors record and submit competency assessment outcomes. If your organisation has asked you to be an Assessor, this article covers how to access the app and install it on your device.

🚨 Before you start

❗ Ausmed Assess works on most modern devices. Make sure you have:

  • An active internet connection (WiFi recommended)
  • iOS 15 or later (iPhone/iPad), Android 10 or later, or a Windows/Mac computer
  • An up-to-date version of Chrome or Safari

How to access Ausmed Assess

✅ Steps

  1. Go to ausmed.com.au/sign-in and log in with your username and password, or via your organisation's Single Sign-On (SSO) process.

  2. On the home page, find the Organisation section and click your organisation's name.

  3. In the top-right corner, open the Staff Portal drop-down menu.
  4. Select Ausmed Assess from the list. Ausmed Assess logs you in automatically. You're ready to start performing assessments.

❗ Can't see Ausmed Assess in the drop-down? You may not have been granted access yet. Check in with your System Administrator to confirm your Assessor permissions have been set up.

Install on iPhone or iPad

Installing Ausmed Assess adds an icon to your home screen so you can open it instantly. Use Safari for this — it won't work in other browsers:

✅ Steps

  1. Open 🧭 Safari and go to https://assessor-app.ausmed.com.au/

  2. Tap the Share icon (square with arrow) at the bottom centre of the screen.Gemini_Generated_Image_eahbuceahbuceahb-1

  3. Scroll down and select Add to Home Screen

  4. Tap Add in the upper-right corner to confirm.

Install on Android device

Installing Ausmed Assess adds an icon to your home screen so you can open it instantly. Use Chrome for this — it won't work in other browsers:

✅ Steps

  1. Open Chrome and go to https://assessor-app.ausmed.com.au/

  2. Tap the Menu icon ⋮ in the top right corner.

  3. Tap Add to Home Screen.

Access on desktop

You can use Ausmed Assess in a browser or install it as a standalone app on your computer. Both options require Chrome or Safari with cookies and JavaScript enabled.

Browser Access Visit https://assessor-app.ausmed.com.au/ in Chrome or Safari
Install as desktop app Open the URL above in Chrome or Safari, click the Install icon on the right side of the address bar, then follow the prompts to launch it in a standalone window
