What is Feedback in Ausmed Perform?

Feedback in Ausmed Perform is a tool designed to support a culture of continuous improvement by enabling managers to send direct feedback to staff. Whether it’s praise from a resident or a development note after a conversation, feedback is captured in a place that staff already use regularly.

It also helps meet compliance requirements, such as the Aged Care Quality Standards, by supporting the expectation that feedback is delivered on an ongoing basis—not just at annual reviews.

When and why to use it

Common use cases include:

  • Positive recognition from residents, families, or peers

  • Developmental conversations that should be remembered

  • Documenting coaching or informal observations over time

Adding feedback to Perform helps:

  • Staff reflect on their performance and contributions

  • Managers build up a history of performance insights

  • Create evidence-based and fairer reviews

Feedback can be linked to regulatory standards, tagged for internal reporting, and filtered by sentiment.
