# Add and manage Facilitators

## Learn how to add a Facilitator to your directory, so they're available to assign to an Event.

**Who this article is for:**

- Users with access to Ausmed Events™

** The Facilitators directory**

Go to **Directories \> Facilitators** to see all Facilitators in your organisation.

The list shows:

| Column | What it shows |
| --- | --- |
| Facilitator | The facilitator's name |
| Staff ID | Their staff ID |
| Bio | Their bio |
| Email | Their email address |
| Facilitator Type | Whether they are an internal or external facilitator |
| Actions | Actions available for that facilitator |

Facilitator, Staff ID, Bio, and Email can each be filtered using the field under their column header.

**Add a Facilitator**

Facilitators can be added by choosing an existing user from your organisation — you don't manually enter their Staff ID, phone, or email.

1. From the Facilitators directory, click **+ Add a Facilitator**.
2. Under **Facilitator Name**, select the person from your organisation you want to add as a facilitator.
3. Add their email
4. Define whether they are an internal /  external facilitator
5. Optionally, add a **Bio** for them.
6. Click **Add Facilitator**.

**Bulk Upload Facilitators**

You can also bulk upload facilitators using the bulk upload tool

1. Click the dropdown next to the Add Facilitator button

2. Click 'I don't have my own CSV file'
3. Fill out the CSV template 
     1. Name,Email and Type are mandatory 
            1. Name must match with an existing Ausmed User

     4. Upload the CSV back into Ausmed and verify that the correct users are loaded into the table.
